Just passing along a note from the Georgetown Climate Center on an upcoming webinar. Please Join Us for the Launch of Our New Online Tool that Tracks State Progress in Preparing for Climate Change In recent years, states have started taking action to prepare their communities for climate change.  Many have even developed specific adaptation plans to guide their work.  Until now, however, no one has been able to define how much progress states are actually making in implementing those plans. The Georgetown Climate Center's new online tool, which will be released on Oct. 9, changes that. Now, anyone will be able to quickly determine how much progress their state is making and decision-makers will be able to learn from innovative examples of actions other states are taking. Join us 11 a.m.-noon EDT on Thursday, Oct. 9, for the release of new research that identifies the progress states are making in implementing their adaptation plans, a demonstration of the online tools that will be released later that day, and a Q&A session following the demonstration.
