The USACE released the latest Nationwide Permits (NWPs)- full text available at

. The new permits include a new one (NWP54) dedicated to living shorelines projects. This permitting option will hopefully make these types of projects that meet the criteria easier to implement. Keep in mind, though, that states and Districts can prohibit their use and/or add their own specifications.
