Lasseters Landing
Description
This project focused on the protection and stabilization of property along the Albemarle Sound as part of a cost-share program with the North Carolina Coastal Federation.
Technical Details
The project consists of 414 linear feet of stone sill and the planting of approximately 4,500 marsh plants. 10-foot and 5-foot openings at either end of the sill eliminate the need for additional drop-downs and provide a protected habitat for marsh vegetation.
