Hi all: I wanted to share the outcomes of an oyster restoration project conducted in coastal Alabama. One of the major highlights of this paper is: expansion of adjacent seagrass cover on a sitewide scale by created reefs in shallow, turbid waters. This is the first time we are reporting "shadow effect" of created reefs, where the positive impact of reefs are found to extend well beyond the immediate shoreward area from the reefs.
