Building out the site - from Bill Sapp

Folks,I just wanted to give you an update about the site.1) we have set an official launch date for November 3rd;2) between now and then we will be making upgrades to the appearance and functionality of the site; 3) we will also be adding any articles, powerpoint presentations, photographs, educational materials, handbooks, etc., that you would like to be posted on the attached Resource page; 4) I have started putting you into the different groups (AL, SC, etc.) (feel free to use the site and the groups anyway you like; only those within the groups can see the groups; the forums are open to view by nonmembers, but only members can comment in the forums);5) Please invite new members to join and let me know what group or groups they should be assigned to; and finally6) This is just a tool to improve communication within the living shoreline community.  I don't have specific ideas on how it should be used, just that it could help us all from reinventing the wheel in each state as living shorelines work continues.Thanks for helping out with the testing!  If you want to help get more people signed up, just put the following link in an email to your living shoreline colleagues and have them put it in their browser.  livingshorelines1.ning.com/   They will then be able to "sign up."Take care.Bill
